TEMPE – Veteran QB Gardner Minshew II led the Cardinals to a comeback win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday after taking over for Jacoby Brissett. That was enough for coach Mike LaFleur to name Minshew the team’s starter on Monday, with rookie Carson Beck moving up to the backup role.

Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew led a 14-point fourth-quarter comeback and the team persevered in overtime to beat the Cowboys 33-30. Minshew will be the starter moving forward.
