The Charleston Literary Festival Fellows Showcase, a free event, will introduce audiences to two fellows whose work explores Black history and the realities of war.

As part of Tyson’s participation, the festival will donate 1,000 of his books to New Mexico schools, libraries and educational nonprofit organizations.
